Miss Vanessa, the owner of The Lovers Cabaret, came in HOT for her session with us a few weeks ago. She’s a stunner, there’s no denying that, but she’s also downright sweet and we loved having her in the studio!
Here’s what Miss V had to say about her session: “I wanted to see myself in a new light! I just turned 30, and also had a surgery last year. So I feel that I am rediscovering my physical self both as a woman, and as a recovering athlete. I wanted a chance to remind myself that I am beautiful, no matter the circumstances. Also, after hearing how great Jen and Kelly are, I really wanted my own experience with them one-on-one! I was a bit nervous coming in, because I know how good Jen is as a photographer, and I wanted to really listen and make sure my posing was on point 😉 I think any one is nervous when they’re about to be nearly naked in front of strangers! You want to make sure you look perfect, and don’t forget something. Plus, you don’t want to have too high of expectations and then be disappointed. So you have a lot going on in your head! The silly thing is, once you arrive and start working with the girls, you feel amazing and have absolutely nothing to worry about… and the photos far exceed any expectations! The best thing I got from shooting with Jen and Kelly, was the experience of feeling beautiful. You get to see yourself in a new light, and you get to relax and be you in front of the camera. You don’t have to be anything you’re not, and they capture the beauty of that! To feel so good in your own skin, and then look at the photos and STILL feel so good in your own skin, is empowering!”
