When people ask what I do for a living, I get a mix of reactions when I tell them I've been a boudoir photographer for almost 15 years. Sometimes people have no idea what boudoir photography even is! Other times, people imagine it's something lewd or overly provocative. I like to think that although my work can be suggestive at times, the images are always elegant, classy and timeless. It's important to me that my boudoir photography is not only tasteful, but also that the photos will stand the test of time. I want you to look back at your photos in 10, 20, 30+ years and, in the words of the iconic Moira Rose, say:
"Dear God, I was a beautiful thing."
Miss L came to me in search of timeless and classic boudoir photography in Vancouver. Here's what she had to say about her experience:
"I write this while still in my makeup and full hair done no more than 2 hours after my shoot and let me tell you, if you've ever thought about booking yourself a boudoir shoot, Jennifer and Kelly are the ones to book it with! "
"For context, I'm a 42-yr old mom of a 2-year old, I live in elastic waistband pants (size L/XL), a bun of some sort and usually a shoe made for walking in the rain...uphill."
"From a service perspective, the booking process was easy, clear, the response time to any and all of my contact was quick... and then came shoot day! They made me feel right at home, super comfortable and I felt like we were on the same page with creating something beautiful."
"I gave them full creative control (minus the clothes I brought) and I cannot wait to see the results."
"I saw myself in such a different light than I'm used to and I know now it was well overdue. Check out their website and Instagram page, and JUST BOOK IT you won't regret it."
"I already want to do it again lol." - Miss L
