Studio Assistant

The time has come to grow my team!

As a studio assistant you’ll wear many hats and be responsible for many different things. Some of the tasks are fun, some tedious, some rewarding, some boring, but all of them are important and essential to carrying out the best experience possible for the women who visit my studio in Vancouver.

The ideal candidate is someone who is excited about, and truly believes in the empowerment of ALL women.

Everyone is welcome in my studio regardless of age, shape, size, cultural background, religion, or sexual orientation. This job is not for you if you are uncomfortable with the idea of boudoir photography or women's sexuality.

You must be trustworthy and reliable.

Trust and commitment are key, this is not negotiable! This position is NOT open to anyone who is actively marketing their own boudoir photography business. You will be required to sign non-disclosure and non-compete contracts.

This position is ideal for someone who has the flexibility/desire to start on a casual basis and grow into a more involved position.

If we work well together and our projects are successful then I will definitely want you around more! Work location is flexible - I would need you in-studio some days for filming, however a good portion of the tasks can be done remotely if desired. I would need approximately 8-12 hours a week to start.

To succeed and feel good about this job, you must be someone who enjoys being a support.

I need an organized go-getter that has no problem taking the reins on projects, and can take an idea or concept and run with it. I have lots of big ideas and not enough time to do it all myself. I enjoy the collaborative process when working on projects so your ideas are welcome and encouraged!

This is not necessarily a photography position.

However, if you have photography experience I will utilize your skills! I will need some basic photography and video to document behind the scenes, product photos and other various content for social media. Training will be provided if you're not already confident using an iPhone or camera.

Day to day tasks include (but aren't limited to):

  • Assisting during client sessions
  • Set up and reset the studio after a session
  • Assisting with content creation
  • Filming BTS for various social media channels
  • Assisting with marketing, social media, newsletters, etc
  • Assisting in planning special events
